Peter Kwasny GmbH is pleased about your visit to its websites and about your interest in our company and our products. We take the protection of your private data seriously and we want you to feel comfortable when visiting our Internet pages. The protection of your privacy when processing personal data is an important concern for us, which we take into account in our business processes. We process personal data that is collected when you visit our websites in accordance with the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU-DS-GVO) while at the same time complying with the data protection regulations of the country in which the body responsible for data processing is based.

Kwasny websites may contain links to websites of other providers to which this data protection declaration does not extend.

Introduction

All citizens have the constitutionally guaranteed right to determine the use of their personal data themselves. This results in an obligation for us to protect all personal data.

Responsible body within the meaning of the Data Protection Act

As the responsible body, Peter Kwasny GmbH processes its personal data in compliance with the German Data Protection Regulation (DS-GVO), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and all other relevant legal provisions. You can reach our data protection officer at the address below.

Safeguarding measures

We train all our employees who come into contact with personal data and oblige them to comply with the data protection requirements in accordance with the principles of the DS-GVO for the processing of personal data, as set out in Art. 5 (1) DS-GVO.

Furthermore, we have taken extensive technical and organisational data protection measures in accordance with Art. 32 Para. 1 DS-GVO to protect the stored personal data.

Peter Kwasny GmbH uses technical and organisational security measures to protect your data managed by us against manipulation, loss, destruction and against access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

Collection and processing of personal data

The website and all related data are stored on a German server (German provider).

When you visit our website, our provider stores information of a general nature in accordance with standard practice. This information (server log files) includes for example:

date and time
the pages viewed (name of the file)
the amount of data transferred
the page from which you visit our site
IP address
This data is only evaluated in anonymous form for statistical purposes and to improve our services. Furthermore, we collect, process and use personal data insofar as this has been entered by the user of the website in one of our input masks.

Cookies

In order to be able to expand and improve our website offer, we use so-called "cookies" (small text files). These are stored on your computer when you call up our homepage. This enables us to tailor the content of our website more specifically to your needs and thus improve our services for you. However, you can exclude this storage by making the appropriate setting in your web browser. However, this may limit the functionality of our website offers.

SSL encryption

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption procedures (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Newsletter

When registering for our newsletters, the data you enter will be used exclusively for this purpose. In addition, information relevant to the service or registration may also be sent by email.

For registration, we require a valid e-mail address. To check whether the registration is actually made by the owner of an email address, we use the "double opt-in" procedure. For this purpose, we log the order of the newsletter, the sending of an order email and the receipt of the response requested therein. No further data is collected. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter and is not passed on to third parties. You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. You will find a corresponding link in every newsletter. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on our website or inform us of your wishes using the contact details provided at the end of this data protection declaration.

Contact form

If you contact us via email or the contact form, the information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and for possible follow-up questions.

Use and disclosure of personal data

Personal data is only stored by us if you provide it to us of your own free will, e.g. in the context of an application, registration, by filling in forms or sending e-mails, in the context of ordering services, making enquiries or requesting material.

When registering to use our personalised services, some personal data is collected, such as name, address, contact and communication details (telephone number, fax number, email address, etc.). If you are registered with us, you can access content and services that we only offer to registered users. Registered users also have the option of changing or deleting the data provided if necessary. In addition, we will provide you at any time with information about the personal data we have stored about you, which we will change or delete at your request at any time, provided that no other legal provisions prevent this. To contact us, please use the contact details at the end of this privacy policy.

We use personal data only for our own purposes in the course of customer relations, for product surveys and for marketing purposes. In the event that third parties are involved in work processes that would require us to temporarily share your data for processing solely for this purpose, we apply the same high standards and oblige the third party to comply with the data protection provisions as part of a commissioned data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 DS-GVO.

Personal data is only transferred to state institutions and authorities within the framework of mandatory national legal provisions. Our employees, agencies and dealers are obliged by us to maintain confidentiality.

Right to information

Upon request, we will provide you at any time with information about all personal data that we have stored about you. In addition, you are of course entitled to have any errors or inaccurate data corrected, updated, deleted or blocked. If, despite our efforts to ensure that the data is correct and up to date, incorrect information has been stored, we will correct this at your request.

Possibility of objection

We would like to use your data to inform you about our products, services and innovations and, if necessary, to ask you about them. If you do not agree to the use of your data for marketing purposes, you can inform us informally at any time so that we can block your data accordingly with effect for the future.

Google Analytics

For statistical purposes and to improve the user-friendliness of our site, data is stored in anonymised form. For this purpose, the websites of Peter Kwasny GmbH use the tool Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc (Google). Cookies are also used in this process. This enables an analysis of your use of our websites. The information generated by the cookies about your use of our websites is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

If IP anonymisation is activated, the IP address will be shortened by Google within the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. As a rule, this is done before transmission, but in exceptional cases it can also be done on site. Google will use this information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent cookies from being stored at any time by making the appropriate security settings in your browser software. In this case, however, not all functions of this website can be fully used.

You can, however, prevent the collection and processing of the data relating to your use of the website by Google as described above. To do so, you must download and install the browser plug-in available at the link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographical information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about your use of the map function. You can find more information about data processing by Google in the Google privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de). There you can also change your personal data protection settings in the Data Protection Centre.

Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you have accessed our website via an ad placed by Google, Google AdWords will set a cookie on your computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the website of AdWords customers. The information thus obtained is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which the user can be identified.

If you do not want this tracking, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this by generally deactivating the automatic setting of cookies via browser settings and setting the browser so that cookies from the domain "googleleadservices.com" are blocked.

Please note that you must not delete the opt-out cookies as long as you do not want any measurement data to be recorded. If you have deleted all your cookies in the browser, you must set the respective opt-out cookie again.

Embedded YouTube videos

We have embedded YouTube videos on our websites. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. This tells YouTube which page you are visiting. If you are logged in with your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. If you do not wish this to happen, you should log out of your YouTube account beforehand.

When a YouTube video is started, the provider uses cookies that collect information about user behaviour.

If you have deactivated the saving of cookies for the Google Ad programme, you do not have to expect any such cookies when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you would like to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.

Further information on data protection at YouTube can be found in the provider's data protection declaration at: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Social plugins

We offer you the option of using so-called "social media buttons" on our website. The buttons are only integrated as a graphic that contains a link to the corresponding website of the button provider. By clicking on the graphic, you are thus redirected to the services of the respective provider and thus make your data available to them. If you do not click on the graphic, no exchange takes place between you and the corresponding provider. Information on the collection and use of your data in the social networks can be found in the respective terms of use of the providers. We have integrated the social media buttons of the following companies on our website:
