How to spray correctly

Simply perfect spray painting:

  • Spray paints are handy and flexible

Some helpful information
You achieve perfect painting results if you use the right spraying technique:

  • Step 1: Surfaces need to be clean, dry and free of grease. Depending on the material, remove all rust, apply filler, sand and clean. Cover all surfaces that are not be painted with paper and tape, then prime the surfaces.


    Step 4: Always hold the spray paint can vertically when spray painting. Test spray first to check the colour shade. The correct spray distance is 20-25 cm. Always start spraying away from the object.


  • Step 2: The ideal work temperature is between 20 °C and 25 °C. Avoid direct sunlight and wind.


    Step 5: Apply several thin layers in cross coats, first vertically then horizontally. Wait 2-3 minutes between coats.


  • Step 3: Shake the spray paint can thoroughly for at least 2 minutes, so that the colour pigments in the paint are mixed evenly.


    Step 6: Ensure adequate ventilation to avoid spray mist.
